By FlockStackPublished

Kit has a Free plan for up to 10,000 subscribers and two paid plans, Creator and Pro, priced by the size of your list. At 10,000 subscribers Creator is $139 a month billed monthly, or $1,390 a year billed yearly, per Kit's pricing page read on October 21, 2026. No plan limits how many emails you send.

The Free plan

Per Kit's help center, the Free plan has no limit on forms, landing pages or broadcasts, one user, email support, API access, tags and segments, and two-subject-line A/B tests. It can sell digital products, paid newsletters and tips, at the fee below. It has no visual automations, sequences or RSS campaigns, and Kit's branding stays on what you publish. Automations and sequences you have already built stop running if you move down to Free.

Creator and Pro, by list size

Creator adds visual automations, sequences and RSS campaigns. Pro adds subscriber engagement scoring, engagement analytics and deliverability reporting. The table shows Creator billed monthly, Creator billed yearly (the price for the year) and Pro billed monthly, for up to the number of subscribers in the first column. Kit moves you up a tier automatically as your list grows; moving down is your choice and takes effect on your next billing date.

Subscribers, up to Creator, monthly billing Creator, yearly billing Pro, monthly billing
1,000 $39 $390 a year $79
3,000 $59 $590 a year $99
5,000 $89 $890 a year $139
8,000 $119 $1,190 a year $169
10,000 $139 $1,390 a year $189
15,000 $169 $1,690 a year $249
20,000 $189 $1,890 a year $269
25,000 $199 $1,990 a year $279

Kit's pricing page lists more list sizes than these, up to 105,000 subscribers and beyond. Yearly billing is "two months free" in Kit's help center. Kit's page also showed a first-year offer on Pro annual plans when we read it, which ends on November 7, 2026 and isn't in the table. The Pro prices here are Kit's standard ones, and the terms of the offer were not readable on the page.

Who counts toward the bill

Only confirmed subscribers count, per Kit's help center. Unconfirmed, unsubscribed, complained, bounced and blocked subscribers don't. Cold subscribers do count: those with no open or click in 90 days, or 30 days for someone who joined recently. A list full of silent addresses costs as much as an engaged one.

The fee on sales

Kit sells digital products, paid newsletters, recurring subscriptions and tips on every plan. Its help center lists 3.5% + $0.30 per transaction, with card processing included and no monthly fee. The pricing page describes this as Kit keeping 0.6% beside the card fee, and the commerce page says 0.6% plus card processing, so the pages don't agree on how to read it; this post uses the figure on the help page. Payouts go through a Stripe account Kit manages for you, weekly, and PayPal isn't offered. Kit's paid recommendations in its Creator Network, on Creator and Pro, carry a separate 23.5% fee.

The 2025 price change

Kit's letter of September 8, 2025 announced its first price increase in 12 years. New customers got the new prices that day, and existing customers saw them on the first billing date after October 15, 2025, with at least 30 days' notice. Kit says plan limits and features did not change.

Other costs

A dedicated IP costs $250 a month, per Kit's help center, and Kit recommends it only for senders with a large, steady volume and a strong reputation. Kit's MCP server, which its help center calls AI Connectors, is on Creator and Pro. Its API is on every plan, with rate limits of 120 requests a minute for an API key and 600 for an OAuth token.

What this post leaves out

It lists Kit's standard prices in US dollars, read on October 21, 2026 on the pages linked above. Taxes are extra, and Kit's first-year offers are not in the tables.
